Bulk Actions (New UI)

Objective: Gain an understanding of how to use the Bulk Actions functionality within the Maintenance module.

Within the Maintenance Module, Work Orders can be updated and progressed through the workflow in bulk, using the Bulk Actions function.

To perform a Bulk Action, users first select the Work Orders to modify using the checkboxes (the filtering options can be used to narrow down the list of Work Orders before selecting them, and the 'Select All' checkbox can be used to select all Work Orders on the current page), and then click the 'Bulk Actions' button. A maximum of 100 Work Orders can be included in a Bulk Action.

The first step in the Bulk Action is to narrow down the type of bulk change by first selecting the area:

Next, the specific type of action is chosen:

Next, additional details are populated to configure the action, depending on the action chosen (the full list of available Bulk Actions can be found below). This can include selecting the status, populating dates, choosing resources, and other options:

Lastly, users can review the Bulk Action before starting it. This will show the actions that will be performed, and do a validation check:

Clicking 'Start Operation' will begin the Bulk Action, and the pop-up will close. While the operation is running, 'Task Submitted' will be shown:

Once the Bulk Action is completed, the 'Completed Successfully' status will be shown.

If the Bulk Action is unsuccessful, the message 'Completed with Errors' will be shown.

Users can click on the status to review all changes made by the Bulk Action:

Users can then click 'Finish', which will clear the information from that task, and allow for a new Bulk Action to be started.
